“What happened to Avidor?”
Yeah, I imagine a lot of old friends, neighbors and relatives saying that. I have to imagine them saying that because they stopped talking to me.
Well, the answer to what happened to me is this: the year 2020. So much crap happened to us in 2020. I can’t talk about most of it, but this video I made a while back will give you a sense of how shitty it was:
And my mom died without family members around her because we weren’t allowed in the nursing home. We came through 2020 okay, but a lot of people didn’t.
So I didn’t feel like doing anything fun anymore. That’s the origin of UNJABBED and Courier series.
Speaking of origin stories, stay tuned for the origin story of Eric the Transhuman. It should be done in 2 to 3 weeks.
dystopia: an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic.
wow... thank you for sharing this! you've been thru a lot, as have so many... it is understandable that "dystopia" describes your mood and your art reflects that... i noted that this video you shared is a whole additional channel (BICYCLOPOLIS, 802 views at this moment on the one you shared...) on yt to check out.... bonus!
as a viewer, I'd say your videos are so reflective of MY mood.. your sharing where you're coming from helps me understand partly why your vids are so ... REAL... like someone is ready to admit that we're headed to tyranny and I'm no longer the only one who believes we can fight thru this, if God has us here for this time, it's for a reason ♡
Nice video Ken. And replicated here in places like Auckland and Melbourne. I can't speak for other cities of that size but these cities have also had their downtowns decimated, with retailers, cafes etc finding it impossible to survive (we are/were one such retailer). Internet retail had grown quickly back in the early 2000s but hit its peak around 2005 or so at about 6-8% of total retail depending on which country you were looking at. Only by force it seems can you move that % up. But even then most people prefer to shop at bricks and mortar and as soon as the force relents they'll all go back to to it. So hopefully your city and everyone else's recovers.
But then there's the attempts to move people to working from home while being monitored at that. How long will that take to fail? Another year? Two years?
This world of theirs is so shit that it will eventually all fail. But most likely at huge costs to us all.
