I know, I know... I’m a pretty grumpy guy, a dedicated Doomer, but I got some fun news for a change.
First, my short animatic film “Courier 2” has been included in the upcoming Midwest Weirdfest, beginning the first weekend of March at the Micon Downtown Cinema in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. I’m thinking of going since this is only the second time Courier 2 has been selected by a film festival and I couldn’t go the last time because the theater required me to show papers.
Also, I’m working on two new projects; “Courier 3” and “Landscape of Fear”. The third Courier is going to be the most bleak, most depressing Courier yet! Landscape of Fear is based on a true story about art and law enforcement. Stay tuned.
The weather is getting warmer here in Indianapolis. Spring bulbs are poking out of the ground and flocks of migrating birds are flying North. That means it’s almost sidewalk chalk drawing time. I like doing chalk art because it is ephemeral, existing only for a moment, then like life, poof, it’s gone… oops, sorry, I can’t help being a Doomer!
Here’s the latest happy chalk drawing I did for my neighborhood dentist:
Here’s a gallery of chalk art, long gone with the wind and the rain:
Your coloring is stupendous!
(Not a misspelling, don't worry.)
Keep it going!
Happy news indeed, Ken! Congrats, they have good sensibilities. I hope you're able to attend this time. The chalkings are awesome. Love them. Look forward to completion of the new projects!
